《今日中国》（原名《中国建设》），由由国务院新闻办公室领导，中国外文出版发行事业局主管，是中国目前唯一的多文种综合性对外报道月刊。《今日中国》英文版，创刊于1952年1月。为满足英语地区读者的阅读需求，以生活化的表现手法，全面介绍当代中国经济、社会和文化的发展情况，并提供相关的服务信息。其中有深度报道中国情况的“特别视点”专栏；生动讲述普通人生活状况的“人与社会“专栏；介绍旅游景点及咨询的“旅游天地”专栏等，是英语地区读者了解中国窗口和来华投资、旅游、学习的指南。
